SmartGo (Macintosh)

We're working on a version of SmartGo for the Apple Macintosh, and will announce further details when appropriate.

SmartGo for Windows runs great on Intel-based Macs using VMWare Fusion or Parallels Desktop. Licenses bought for the Windows version will transfer to the future Mac version.

Update (April 2011): Progress on the Mac version has been slow due to the success of the iPad and iPhone versions of SmartGo. The recent SmartGo Books project also took significantly longer than expected. I appreciate your patience.

The Mac App Store greatly simplifies the user experience for installing and updating software; however, it throws a monkey wrench into getting licenses for the Windows version to automatically work for the future Mac version. We'll work with existing SmartGo customers to find a fair solution when the time comes.
